The Daily Spirit
Spirit is the basis of all life—from our human lives to life-as-a-whole.
Yet in our industrial-consumer world, there is very little awareness of the existence of spirit and even less knowledge of its functions in the ongoing creation and maintenance of life.
My intent for The Daily Spirit is to have a place to explore and communicate about the nature of spirit with a result of creating a world where the living functions of spirit are acknowledged, understood, honored, respected and used by everyone as a natural and normal function of everyday life.
Please feel free to comment on, question, and discuss anything you read here. Please communicate.
We have observed for ourselves that we are each an expression of one Whole Spirit, and as such we each have a right and responsibility to be self-determined about every aspect of our lives. It is about being the spirit that is our birthright and using our abilities for good in the world.

My Experience Being a Spirit
At the beginning of 2019 I had an inspiration to write my autobiography as a spiritual being. I wanted to see what had happened that led to where I am now, and especially to observe what had influenced me in the development of what I hold to be true today.
Working on my autobiography has been very revealing and well worth the time and effort. I highly recommend just starting to make notes on whatever you remember about your own spirituality—things that have happened, thoughts and feelings. And observe your own spirituality unfolding.
I’ve decided to share parts of my autobiography here in The Daily Spirit. Eventually I’ll write all the pieces and put it together in a book.
Here is the Author’s Note from my Autobiography...
This book is about my own experience as a spiritual being, and how I came to have this awareness and ability.
I experience myself as a being above and beyond my body, my mind, and the physical world of matter, energy, space, and time.
At rest, I feel calm, peaceful, and happy. with a joy that comes simply from existing. Just before writing this, I was walking through a store and was noticing that I felt happy just of my own accord. Happiness was bubbling up from within me, like bubbles of water coming up from a spring. I was smiling and easily talking with people I encountered in a friendly way, outflowing my happiness and not needing anything in particular from them in order for me to be happy.
As I sit quietly, my mind has no chatter of thoughts, worries, doubts, or fears. I’m not trying to solve any problems. I simply exist beyond that.
I feel no limitation on time. I am simply in the moment, from moment to moment. I feel no limitation on space. I simply exist in all the space there is.
I feel affinity with all other beings, regardess of their physical forms.
I can communicate with any life form, with or without physical language.
From this position of no-thing-ness I can create any-thing in the physical universe. I can cause anything to spring forth from me.
And this is only a small part of my experience.
Beyond the physical realm of our bodies, and beyond the mental realm of our minds and thoughts, there is another realm of the spirit. It is widely sought but is not widely known in today’s world. Yet it is accessible to everyone and is the foundation of all life.
What I know of the spiritual realm comes from my own direct experience. I have studied the works of many others in the fields of science, religion, and philosophy, but all within the measure of my own experience. Everything I know, everything I write in this book I have observed for myself to be true. And the more I pursue this direction, the more convinced I am of its rightness.
My goal as a spiritual being is not to withdraw from the physical world to achieve an awareness of something else, but to explore the nature of spirit and bring it to the world we live in today. My joy is to walk through daily life as a spiritual being, bringing spirit to everything I say and do, to every action I take and every encounter I have.
To know ourselves as the spiritual beings we are is our birthright. It is within reach for every individual.
DEBRA REDALIA became aware she was a spiritual being when her body was only six years old but didn't learn much about what that meant until she met soulmate Larry Redalia twenty-six years later. Together they have helped each other discover the characteristics of spirit and put them into practice in daily life. They are co-founders of Spirits Bright and the upcoming Signs of Spirit Project.
